Seth has this one right, no doubt

Think anyone cares about you in Social? You may want to adjust how you are pushing and not inviting conversation.

Its one of the trickiest and easiest things to ignore. Watch the video and give me your thoughts on how your friends, followers and connections think about you. So think about this next time you begin a conversation.

  • Seth has it right, love his book Tribes. I particularly like when he talks about how having lots of "followers" doesn't define success and how you don't need a key board to be a leader or have initiative. That its about people and connections.

The No One Cares About You video was a short blast (sampler), although the point was made.
Seth Godin is well-rounded and battle sharp - certainly, from years of riding the constantly changing Marketing roller-coaster.
There are many references (historically) that reinforce the point, even before the powerful and prolific internet days.
WIFM - what's in it for me - has been a mantra and key message to all about how to structure, position & communicate just about anything to a target audience.
Do like the reach, frequency and range of Internet-based, Marketing, however the Marketing architects need to realize that some of the basic rules are more critical now than ever.
    Good Hunting!
